new iMac
October 26th, 2005We just got a new iMac. It’s a great improvement over the previous versions. Photo Booth is a really fun app; I think it will be an initiation rite for all those who enter our apartment.
I do have one gripe: the integrated iSight camera cannot be focused. This is fine if you want to sit at a normal distance from the camera and use it for conventional purposes. However, if one want’s to do something slightly unconventional, like, for example, scan in books, dvd, or cds into delicious library, you’re out of luck. Some software control over the focus of the camera would be nice.
