Scott Byer , an Adobe engineer has written an account of why it’s taking Adobe so long to transition Adobe’s apps to Universal binaries. Turns out Adobe really wanted the ability to seamlessly call x86 code from an app running in Rosetta just like 68K code could call PowerPC code in the olden days. [...]

Google Finance

Google’s got a real finance site! No more stupid ’symbol lookup’, just search for the company name. Nor more stupid ‘browse by sector’, just search for the sector and find companies. Charts are done in Flash and are completely fluid. Sweet!

OmniGroup keeps track of the hardware and software configurations of its users. They just updated the web interface to this info. 11% of their users are using Intel macs. Looks like it’s time to get an Intel Mac for iTunes2web.
